Geoffrey Wistow, Esq.
A little about me:
Honesty, integrity, and fairness are some of the most important principles in my life. Unfortunately, hucksters, charlatans, and snake oil salesmen are rife in both the financial and legal fields. Having spent considerable time in both, I cannot stand unethical and unfair business conduct, and I have built my practice to do things right the first time while striving to undo or fix any problems my clients may bring to me.
Born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, and a product of Quaker education, I greatly value doing right by the local D.C. area community. Individuals and families concerned about protecting their legacies, and small businesses hoping to build their best success stories are all clients I love working with day in and day out.
I attended George Mason University School of Law, graduated in 2013, and passed the Virginia Bar that fall. My time is currently split between working as corporate counsel for a local financial firm and running my own, separate practice that serves the estate planning and probate needs of local clients in Virginia.
Outside of work, I am an active volunteer with the Arlington Food Assistance Center and the Humane Rescue Alliance in downtown D.C. On long weekends, I can be found hiking in the Shenandoah or participating in social or recreation sports leagues in Arlington and D.C.
I’ll leave you with my favorite quote regarding this (in)glorious profession below.
